About

A collector’s eye, in fashion and in life.

For four decades Bonnie Roseman has done one thing in many forms — helping people, and objects, find their best expression. A fashion designer and stylist living between Palm Beach and Nantucket, she now writes “Bonnie’s Buzz” for The Inquirer and Mirror and works as a specialist in art, design, and luxury accessories.

A Philadelphia native and lifelong collector, Bonnie began in the art world — building a career as a gallerist and dealer with a roving eye, placing work and shaping collections in Palm Beach, Los Angeles, New York, and Nantucket.

That collector’s instinct carried naturally into fashion. Through her art-to-wear work and, later, her BLT approach — Build, Liven, Tweak — she became a designer and stylist for women who don’t fit neatly into ready-to-wear: busy professionals, frequent travelers, and anyone who wants to feel like themselves at every event on the calendar.

From national television to Worth Avenue

In the 1990s Bonnie’s point of view reached a national audience. She was featured in People, appeared on the TODAY Show with Jane Pauley, and served as a spokeswoman for Polaroid. She brought her designs to home-shopping audiences on HSN and Home Shopping Europe, and for more than a decade kept a boutique on Palm Beach’s Worth Avenue.

That storefront chapter has since given way to a quieter, more personal practice. Today Bonnie styles by appointment — in person or by video — working one wardrobe at a time rather than one shop window at a time.

Film, island life, and philanthropy

Her creative range extends to film. The short Bonnie’s Travels with the Magical Scarf screened at the Nantucket Shorts Festival in 2018, followed by Days of My Life in 2019.

Bonnie lives between Palm Beach and Nantucket, and on the island she’s a familiar presence across the cultural calendar — from the Dreamland to gala season — as comfortable reporting on an evening as attending it. Her broadcasting background includes work in radio over the years, a natural extension of a life spent talking about style and culture.

What Bonnie does now

Today Bonnie writes “Bonnie’s Buzz” as a contributing writer for The Inquirer and Mirror, chronicling Nantucket’s fundraisers, art openings, concerts, and galas. She is also a specialist in art, design, and luxury accessories at Lion & Unicorn, where four decades as a collector and gallerist shape how she helps clients bring pieces to auction.

She studied at Temple University and did graduate work at California State University, Long Beach.

Through all of it, one line has stayed the same: “Feel good, and look even better.”
